RHEA is currently recruiting a Network Procurement Officer to provide procurement and engineering support to the GSA for continuing the preparation of the Galileo exploitation phases. Please note that position is based in Prague, CZE. Tasks and Activities The primary task for this position will be to contribute to a new Galileo Service Operator GSOp ITT related to the Galileo Data Dissemination Network GDDN that will be prepared over the course of 2014 and conducted in 2015. We are looking to further enhance our team by Simulations Officer and Simulator Procurement Support You will be based initially for 1 year at our clients headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. Your Tasks Include The activities for this consultancy will cover Operation Preparation definition and coordination tasks focusing System Operation aspects. The activity requires one key person for the duration of the consultancy contract. The tasks and responsibilities of the key person will typically include the following Support SSST Simulator procurement and development team by providing Operation expertise over the project life cycle and during reviews. Your Profile Technical skills In addition to having a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the Key person shall have a demonstrated experience of at least five years in the field of spacecraft simulation engineering with specific experience as follows Experience in the full cycle of development of application software for satellite simulators, following formal software engineering processes. This includes system requirement analysis, software requirement engineering, software design and implementation reflecting maintenance activities as well as new applications definition. Experience in the definition and design of SMP2 compliant software models of spacecraft service platform subsystems DHS, AOCS, Thermal, Electrical,.... Knowledge and understanding with working experience of space related standards ECSS and CCSDS with specific reference to ECSSE7041A TM and TC packet utilization. Have demonstrated experience of working in a multipartner programme Experienced in supporting specific operation preparation phases such as SSVT, validation campaigns or rehearsals for routine operations or LEOP. Capability to lead simulation campaigns and assess teams readiness prior launch. Knowledge of Operation life cycle and Operation Preparation tools such as procedure editor and databases management tools.
