We are searching for an DOA Management Expertise Engineer dfm. The overall mission of the DOA Management Expertise domain is to ensure, that all necessary activities to obtain, manage and maintain the design organisation approvals of Airbus DS and acting as interface with the Airworthiness Authorities for these purposes. DOA Management Expertise domain is responsible to ensure that design organisation manuals and design assurance systems compliance check lists are established and maintained in conformity with the design assurance system, and that these ones, together with the associated procedures, methods and tools, demonstrate compliance with the applicable Airworthiness Authorities regulations. DOA Management Expertise domain takes leadership to deliver to the Design Organisation the right level of the Design Organisation Approval expertise. Functions and Tasks Establish and keep uptodate the design organisation manuals Lead process for demonstrating DOA compliance to the Airworthiness Authorities of the design organisation manuals, including evaluation and approval management with the Airworthiness Authorities of the changes to the design organisation manuals Ensure that compliance check lists are established and maintained in conformity with the design assurance system, and that these ones, together with the associated procedures,methods and tools, demonstrate compliance with the applicable Airworthiness Authorities regulations Ensure that DOA procedures approved baseline for each design organisation approval is accurate and available for the design organisation Support assessment of design assurance systems procedures to ensure DOA compliance under the responsibility of the process procedures owners Own processes and procedures related to the design assurance system linked to compliance with airworthiness, environmental protection and operational suitability data requirements under Airworthiness Product Integrity CoC Lead the discussions with the Airworthiness Authorities to achieve the agreement of processes and procedures related the design assurance system, with special focus on those linked to compliance with airworthiness, environmental protection and operational suitability data requirements Manage design organisation approvals, obtaining new ones and extending the existing ones including new privileges andor products Define design organisation and process requirements applicable to DOA Suppliers Coordinate the qualification phase of DOA Suppliers for new programmes or work packages with the support of DOA Supplier Control Engineers Manage design assurance system significant changes from the application until their acceptance by the Airworthiness Authorities, including their implementation and deployment within the design assurance system Interface with Airworthiness Authorities DOA related for all activities regarding the management of the design organisation approvals Provide DOA expertise support to the overall design organisation Support Airworthiness Product Integrity CoC domains as DOA expert upon request Support Airbus DS programmes engineering bidding process for those aspects DOA related Represent Airbus DS in the rulemaking relevant to DOA matters by developing, promoting and implementing strategies and concepts, in Airbus DS interest, within international DOA activities in close cooperation with the international Airworthiness Authorities, Aviation Industry committees and institutions contributing and influencing international Airworthiness Authorities rulemaking activities related to DOA Cascade the changes on the regulations for those aspects DOA related, launch them into the design organisation and design assurance system and contribute for all DOA management activities and support design organisation authorities as DOA expert Lead and manage the DOA School and identifies and promotes DOA training needs across the design organisation Contribute, as DOA expert, upon request from the management, to specific tasks or projects and provide expertise support in those aspects related to DOA matters to the design organisation, both internally and externally including DOA suppliers.
