EGNOS Test Bed Software Engineer Deadline for applications 14012021 Job Description For our client we are looking for a EGNOS Test Bed Software Engineer for their location in Taufkirchen, Germany. Tasks and Responsibilities EGNOS is a satellite based European augmentation system for GPS signals and the upcoming European Navigation system Galileo. Currently the next generation EGNOS V3 is under development by Airbus. In this context prototype software of an EGNOS subsystem is being implemented and verified. The jobholder fmd works as a Software Engineer supporting the implementation and verification of a test bed to perform simulations to execute and verify the EGNOS V3 prototype software. Implementing scheduling layer, input and output functions Integrate the algorithm models prepared within the team Document test procedures, and perform the tests, and document test reports Perform troubleshooting and detailed data investigation, and raise SW problem reports Support algorithm engineers in problem assessment and fixing. Requirements Master Degree in Electrical engineering or Computer science or similar Engineering degrees Detailed knowledge of Python Detailed knowledge of Matlab Profound Knowledge in C, C and scripting languages is needed Englisch business fluent German knowledge would be a plus Demonstrated experience in documentation for test bed concepts, test reports and software developments Profound knowledge in Software integration and data processing is required Experienced in processing and evaluation of measurement data is required Experience in satellite navigation systems architecture and applications would be a plus A Person with good interpersonal and very good verbal and written communication skills A person which works autonomously and shall be able to analyse complex technical problems. The jobholder fmd works as a PCF System Engineer and has these main tasks Performing requirements engineering of navigation performance requirements for the PCF system Breaking down and allocating navigation requirements functional and performance to the PCF subsystems Verifying the flowdown of requirements to algorithm specifications Supporting definition of Test Procedures and Test Cases to verify the PCF element Contributing to specification of metrics, tools and scenarios in line with needs coming from qualification. Position Reference 735 We are currently looking for an EGNOS User Segment Engineer to work in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. HeShe will support standardisation activities in the field other market segments than aviation maritime, rail, road, etc.. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the standardisation of SBAS services and SBAS receivers for other uses than aviation Contribute to write the service provision concepts with the user community, defining typical operational goals for the service, then determine and validate user segments requirements e.g. Receivers minimum operational performance specifications, or similar. Contribute to the service engineering for other market segments than aviation maritime, rail, road, etc., notably by defining activities required to standardise the service, the system andor user receivers e.g. testbed, test user receiver, pilot project. Support the EGNOS Standardisation Engineer in the standardisation of SBAS receivers within the standardisation fora of the different user communities, organising and managing the production of the deliverables and contributing to their edition. Support the EGNOS Standardisation Engineer in liaising with the stakeholders which contribute to standardisation of EGNOS Services, notably by preparing publications, presentations and writing minutes of meetings. Support the supervision of activities outsourced by the Service Engineering team for DFMC User Segment projects Contribute to writing technical specifications of GSA prototyping projects for maritime, rail, road and other market segment if need be. Provide technical expertise for project reviews of receiver prototypes. Contribute to preparing Technical Specifications for GSAs standardisation activities Procurement and Grants. Contribute to other tasks of the EGNOS Service Engineering team, as necessary. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in the relevant discipline, with at t least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience in developing user segment equipment, either in navigation or telecommunications. Ability to write clear, precise and concise documents in fluent English Experience in supervising outsourced activities in an international environment. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience in defining technical requirements from potential users for future services within a regulated environment. Experience in developing GNSS receivers up to commercialisation. Experience leading a standardisation group of technical experts in an international forum. Experience in developing user segment equipment for transport safety maritime, road, rail or aviation. EGNOS System Security Engineer

Position Reference 687 We are currently looking for an EGNOS System Security Engineer to work for our Client in the city of Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure activities, with a particular focus on security aspects e.g. security risk treatment, accreditation, .... Support the follow up of the system definition, design, qualification and acceptance activities for the different EGNOS versions and service, in line with the security risk analysis, i.e. with a particular focus on the security measures and operational aspects. Support the security and technical analysis of the architecture and specifications for system and ground segment upgrades to ensure coherence and compliance with the security requirements and identify impacts on baseline security documentation. Monitor the system security status, following up anomaly resolution through the implementation of Work Arounds, fast fixes, midtermlong term correction. Contribute to the specification, design and follow up of such resolution to be implemented by industrial contracts. Contribute to the follow up the development of EGNOS V3 services from the system and infrastructure point of view.
