A1 launches OTT TV service in Austria
2015-08-03 13:42:00| Telecompaper Headlines
(Telecompaper) A1 Telekom Austria announced the introduction of A1 Now as part of its TV service. Users have access to 40 live TV channels as well as approximately 3,000 films on up to five different internet-connected devices. With the integrated A1 Cloud recorder, viewers can watch the entire TV output for up to seven days after broadcast or record up to 10 hours available for three months. The service is available to all Austrians, not only A1 customers, regardless of their network provider. In a beta test, 1,000 interested customers can test the A1 Now functions, and give their feedback. Registration is possible between 3 and 9 August. The testing is free of charge but uses data volume; A1 therefore recommends the use of a WLAN network.
