Supplier Manager Deadline for applications 20052020 Job Description For our client we are looking for a Supplier Manager for their location in Lampoldshausen, Germany. Tasks and Responsibilities The main mission as Supplier Manger Leads the preparation invitation to tender ITT request for quotation RFQs, the negotiation process and the placement of supplier orders Ensures sourcing and delivery of items activities endtoend to be procured, being accountable for hisher suppliers OQOTOC on quality, on time, on cost performance. Manages supplier relationship for the suppliers he is in charge of Contributes to the success of the overall programs Is the interface with the Suppliers for all matters Technical, economics, schedule, contractual. In detail, the job holder is responsible for the following tasks Ensure appropriate treatment of nonconformance with Quality Identifies the supplier risks and proposes mitigation actions Ensures the regular reporting Is accountable for procured items and activities through their whole life cycle Supports and participates to develop and maintain a robust supplier base PrepareCustomize RFP request for proposal Negotiate the commercial conditions and further changes with the supplier according to agreed internal targets Sign the contractual agreements place order with suppliers in accordance with delegation rules Maintain the data in SAP or equivalent. Requirements At least Bachelors degree in Project Management or in Engineering with a focus on Procurement Detailed knowledge of MS Office and SAP with demonstrable relevant experience German at least business fluent English at least business fluent Experience in Procurement, supplier development, quality claims Good communication skills Ability to work in a team Assertiveness and responsibility Structured and autonomous way of working. POSITION ID 3837 ROLE FUNCTION System Project Manager TASKS coordinate the internal external support to PLS Space Segment Development Team, TEC experts, Mission Analysis System Support, Industry coordinate with the Space Segment Development Team where relevant to exchange technical status on the flying and nonflying satellites, identifying coordination issues of relevance and following them to conclusion Support PLS at the regular weekly Operations Boards Support the Operations Teams by providing or facilitating responses to technical support requests from either the Flight Operations Segment FOS or Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS Maintain distribute the PLS OnCall lists to the FOS other parties where relevant in a timely manner Support the Mission Manager and hisher team by providing technical advice related to issues of Satellites performance Support the Space Segment Development Teams by providing timely pertinent feedback on any issue detected inflight with potential impact on satellites still under development provide specific technical expertise to support Performance Monitoring, Analysis Optimisation tasks and Anomaly Investigations, with overall aim to improve mission quality andor lifetime Preparation of Technical Documentation, such as Reports, Technical Notes and other requested documentation Review and synthesis of Technical Reports and documents produced by Industry, and extraction of relevant technical information for use in generation of PLS Performance metrics and reports organise and support the 6monthly Satellite InOrbit Performance SIOP Technical Meetings in cooperation with the Industrial Prime contractor, including associated followup activities eg administration, actions follow up etc respond to Anomaly Warnings received from the Flight Operations Segment FOS in an appropriate timely manner, providing support and facilitating the necessary followon actions Support and lead complex investigations that arise as a result of satellite performance and anomalies, ensuring adequate coordination with involved partners Mission Management, Operations Teams, Industry, Space Segment Development Teams, Management prepare, coordinate followup on engineering requests for the Industrial contractors in support of Anomaly Investigations and other technical analyses support satellite configuration control including the Configuration Control Board CCB support Satellite Decommissioning Disposal activities as required monitor, track and report the status of activities performed by the Industrial contractors in support of the PLS function technical, commercial and schedule status review commercial payment requests the associated justifications submitted by Industry regular milestones or as result of adhoc Cost Reimbursement activities Bring innovation to satellite performance analysis by investigating emerging technologies that enhance the ability for early detection of performance trends and deviations maintain the relevant PLS technical records, databases documentation in accordance with established procedures maintain a regular reporting in coordination with the Technical Officer REQUIRED SKILLS The following skills are requested of all personnel providing support within the service Fluent English language oral and written Autonomy in writing technical notes, specifications and reports in English Good interpersonal skills and team spirit Demonstrable multidisciplinary or systemlevel experience in the satellite engineering domain Previous working experience in a multinational environment is desirable Very good knowledge of MS Office tools. The personnel allocated to these tasks shall have the following key skills University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline Minimum 10 years of experience and a significant background in one or more of the following domains Satellite Operations, Spacecraft Development including Project Engineering, EquipmentSubsystem Procurement, Assembly Integration Test Minimum 3year experience working as a System Engineer or with a System Coordination function in any of the above domains Good understanding of the Satellite Phase E2 Routine Operations Organization and the typical activities performed Good understanding of the factors affecting the short and longterm performance of Satellites and their main subsystems or payloads Proven experience ability at working in an environment with multiple external interfaces Good at working in a team and a proactive attitude to solving problems.
