We are now looking to hire a Service Delivery Manager for Asia Pacific Employment Type FullTime Required Experience Minimum 35 Years of experience Required Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Department Name Operations Reporting To EVP, Operations Working Location Singapore, Singapore Travel Required Yes, up to 30 of the time Role Description The Service Delivery Manager works with customers in the Asia Pacific area APAC to make them successful and grow their business with O3b. This includes helping them win their end customer business and offering consultative support to help prepare them for on time service activation with O3b. They are a key Voice of the Customer within O3b understanding what each customer values the most in terms of customer support and ensuring that the whole O3b team interfaces with the customer to offer this coordinated support. Responsibilities Prepare Customer Fulfillment Plans for each O3b customer in APAC region with a contracted service agreement and manage and track the progress of these plans over the service lifetime Support strategic Account Development initiatives work with APAC customers to make them successful and grow their business with O3b. This includes helping them win their end customer business, identifying new applications which can be supported and service expansions which can be contracted Help identifying creative ways to migrate customers existing services using other satellites and technologies to the O3b system to increase the O3b share of their wallet and reduce their total cost of service delivery Work closely with customers to understand their business and offer consultative support to help prepare them for their service activation with O3b Be the Voice of the Customer within O3b Provide feedback to Product Development, Systems Engineering and Asset Management on what customers in APAC region need to grow their business in terms of follow on satellite architectures, new product types, ground terminal developments, service costs, beam placements, and O3b customer service support Understand what each customer values the most in terms of customer support and ensure that the whole O3b team interfaces with the customer to offer this coordinated support Be a Champion within O3b to work with the O3b functional teams to develop a Customer Centric organization Work with Engineering, Product Development and Marketing teams to develop a Customer portal of documentation, customer tools, and service information to allow customers to better understand the O3b system and better integrate the business partnership with O3b Requirements Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience A minimum of three years relevant service delivery experience working for a telecommunications services provider or systems integrator Formal Project Management Qualification is a plus Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English , and additional regional languages are a plus Strong presentation and project management skills Knowledge of satellite services Hands on knowledge of the implementation of mobile networks, fibre backbone networks and Internet access networks in emerging markets Regional market experience and business cultural awareness Ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail Strong interpersonal skills a stimulating influence on others, while being firm, direct, and selfassured in dealing with them Ability to work effectively in a global high energy multicultural team and interface with a global customer base and understand their needs Willing to travel internationally and meet directly with clients Note All applicants for permanent positions at O3b Networks are subject to reference and background screening.
