Production and stocks have steadily increased in the last months, as reflected by our statistical tables and charts. Asian stocks began mixed Wednesday on weak lead from the U.S., with much of the focus on the start of earnings season after a tough quarter for many companies. "A sluggish U.S. session following equally weak European trade points toward a tepid start to Asian equity markets," said IG Markets strategist Bernard Aw.
