Hilda is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h). A west-northwestward to northwestward motion at a slower forward speed is expected during the next few days. Maximum sustained winds remain near 85 mph (140 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast today, with gradual weakening expected to begin on Monday. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 25 miles (35 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 90 miles (150 km).
