Deimos Imaging, one of the world leading satellite imagery provider, owns and operates the DEIMOS1 and DEIMOS2 satellites with a 247 commercial service from our three facilities in Spain and through our own network of ground stations in Canada, Sweden and Norway. All the ground segment software, from mission planning to image processing, has been codeveloped inhouse, allowing a unique capacity to customise the service to best suite all customer needs. Role Purpose The Junior Legal Specialist position as a part of the Business Development Corporate will assist the Contract Specialist Legal Affairs. HeShe will give support to the Business Development for contractual matters in general and in particular, distribution agreements, intellectual property licenses, services rendering contracts and subcontracting, and to the corporate business units on corporate matters regarding minutes, certifications, and legal opinions. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 1. HeShe will aid with the drafting and reviewing of commercial agreements distribution, supply, subcontracting, services rendering contracts service level agreements, nondisclosure agreements, intellectual property licensing, trademarks, Letter of Intent LoI, Memorandum of understanding MoUs with international clients and suppliers. Working with the sales and Business Development unit to prepare documents covering intellectual property license agreements. Providing thorough and timely review of documents drafted by other parties, in order to identify and mitigate legal risks to the company. Giving support regarding negotiations of contracts, subcontracts, and amendments directly with the customer and subcontractors. Assisting the Business Development and Corporate units with the implementation of contracts, once signed. Reviewing legal requirements expressed in sale proposals. Keeping accurate, easily accessible and complete records of the Companys contractual and business matters assigned to your scope of work activities. Keep documented records of commitments made and understanding between the Company and its customers. 2. Assisting Corporate on matters regarding powers of attorney PoAs, legal opinions, certifications as well as Reviewing financing agreements bank loans and consortium and regional, national and European grant agreements. Assisting with a diverse range of legal issues, including compliance with anticorruption laws, debt collection, personal data protection and labor. 3. Assisting with space law matters, such as registration of satellites, radiofrequency licenses, and export control of dualuse products and technologies. Education University degree in law. English C1 used on a daily basis. Abroad experiences will be a plus. Experience 2 years experience with contractual or commercial law issues drafting and negotiating international commercial agreements distribution and licensing agreements would be an asset. Familiarity with the Earth Observation industry would be an asset but is not required. Skills Highest standards of accuracy and precision highly organized, methodical, efficient and proactive.
