These include equipment covering a wide span of products such as highspeed data receivers used in scientific missions, telecommand and telemetry baseband modems, RF frequency converters and many others. Tasks and Responsibilities He she will take the leadership role in the design and the development of the FPGA core integrated in our products and will document the architectural design choices made. He she will execute proactively all necessary simulations and consolidate all results obtained. He she will secure his her FW deliverables through wise unit testing coverage. He she will define the test plans and procedures to fulfill the FPGA core verification. He she might support business development activities in drafting highlevel technical architecture meeting customer highlevel objectives issued through RFP. He she might participate to conferences and sometimes present technical achievements. Qualifications and Experience Master PhD in Electronics or equivalent through experience. Expertise with Digital Communication Systems e.g. Modulator, Demodulator, UpDown Sampling, Decimator, Interpolator, Filtering, EncodingDecoding, ADC DAC, PCIe, LVDS, etc. Indepth knowledge in VLSI design and proven working experience with Altera Intel and Xilinx FPGAs within corresponding proprietary development environment. Linux kernel device driver development skills is an asset. Technical leadership. Ability to write technical documentation. Motivated, team player, dynamic, sense of ownership and commitment. Your responsibilities You will join the firmware design team and will be involved in the full firmware development cycle of our products. You will have the chance to work with challenging products designed for extreme environments. Our designs are related to image processing, sensor readout, system integration, digital and analog electronics in combination with FPGAs. You will be involved in jobs ranging from the realization of IP cores in CPLD, FPGA and SOC designs to software, electronics and image sensors. We rely on Xilinx FPGAs for defense projects and Microsemi FPGAs for space projects. You will have the opportunity to learn and design these products in assistance with an experienced project team. You will work with FPGA and SDK tools to realize a fully working system, where you assist in the design, simulation, debugging and realization of the firmware.
