RHEA is currently recruiting an EGNOS exploitation security management engineering support for our client based in Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Elaborate Security Mission level analyses and documentation for EGNOS V2, in terms of new specifications and assessment of compliance to existing specifications Technical follow up of the EGNOS V2 system and operations level security activities performed by the EGNOS Service Provider and industrial System Prime in order to Develop, assess and establish Statement of Compliance to SECOPS Prepare Risk Treatment plans and manage their implementation Analyse system level security datapackage during system development and exploitation reviews Support the EGNOS Exploitation Security Officer in the follow up of the EGNOS service providers security activities Contribute to the management of the Classified documentation up to RUE level Contribute to the follow up of the EUCI management issuesconcerns in the EGNOS Program scope Support the EGNOS Exploitation Security Officer in managing EUCI related process and procedures Support the local team in managing EUCI information in particular in absence of the EGNOS Exploitation Security Officer Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory At least 4 years of relevant experience in security engineering and security operations preparation At least 4 years of relevant experience in project management, contract management, or ITT and proposal preparation and evaluation Ability to work with little to no supervision Excellent written and oral communications skills A valid security clearance at the EU SECRET level UE The following skills would be highly desirable Previous experience working as part of the Egnos programme How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? This job position is for our customer EUMETSAT. Heshe will provide engineering support to the MTG Ground Segment Data processing team in the frame of the MTG Programme The key person will support the procurement of data processing elements by advising on technical solutions proposed by the contractor and by reviewing documentation to confirm its compliance with the requirements. Heshe will support management of the requirements baseline for data processing elements and support refinement of ICDs. The key person will support testing, integration and acceptance of data processing elements. Heshe will participate in formal reviews and technical meetings. In addition, there will be regular involvement in the following tasks requiring interaction and coordination with other teams at System and Ground Segment level Review of System, Space Segment and Ground Segment documentation dealing with requirements, concepts, algorithms and technical analyses of relevance for data processing, including review of instrument data processing algorithms and calibration concepts defined by the Space Segment with emphasis on their implications on Ground Segment data processing concepts, interfaces and architecture. Participation in formal reviews and technical meetings at System and Ground Segment level Review of documentation dealing with technical evolutions of the EUMETSAT infrastructur PROFILE In addition to having a University degree or equivalent, including experience in the engineering, physics, or software or similar domains the key person shall have the following mandatory attributes, skills, and experience Relevant experience in preparation of requirements, design, interfaces and testing documentation for data processing systems considering the systems engineering aspects of data processing management and data provision experience of data processing for high data rate missions andor Earth Observation missions is an asset but is not mandatory Relevant experience in monitoring and implementation of designs against requirement baselines and IVV, including testing and formal acceptance The ability to maintain a system overview is essential. This ability shall be exercised within a multidisciplinary context in cooperation with other teams, covering several different data processing levels and instruments Ability to learn and develop the needed skills and knowledge to contribute to the development of MTG. This includes the ability to rapidly absorb, and make use of, information presented in written and oral communications in a dynamic context Systematic approach to work, including the ability to plan the work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks Ability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation. The official languages of EUMETSAT are English and French. The working language for the position is English and therefore the Engineer must be able to work effectively in this language and have knowledge of the other. The key person will be a member of a multidisciplinary system engineering team and will report directly to the SEP Ground Stations Engineering Team Leader. HEshe will support Engineering activities of Phase B of future ground segments in the areas of Ground Stations, RF and Telecommunications mainly for supporting EPSSG and JasonCS activities The follow up of the detailed design and development activities of Phase CD of the future ground segments in the areas of Ground Stations, RF and Telecommunications The maintenance and evolution in phase E to the other programmes within EUMETSAT MSG, EPS, Jason, ,.. in the areas of Telecommunications, RF and Ground Stations, PROFILE The key person shall have a university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile together with the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks. Heshe shall have, as a prerequisite, a demonstrated experience in a similar function for at least 5 years. This experience shall include in particular Ground stations system and subsystem design and development for TTC Ground stations system and subsystem design and development for mission specific andor satellite communications ground stations TTC baseband equipment and SLE compliant implementations Technical background in the specification and VV of ground stations and large antennas and tracking systems for LEO and GEO satellites ACU and receivers inclusive Knowledge of modulationdemodulation schemes applied by Ground to Space ICD for TTC and payload data transmission e.g. ECSS and CCSDS Standards. In addition, the knowledge and experience of the following processesareas is considered as an asset Competence and experience in the engineering processes for managing requirements from the definition phase through the traceability, verification, validation and maintenance stages using formal methods and tools e.g. DOORs Design and requirements engineering of large and complex Earth Observation related ground stations Usage of High Data Rate Demodulators System experience with Link budget analysis and tools in S, X and Ka Band Standard RF and microwave tools and SW package for generation of signal processing related simulations andor semiautomated measurement procedures.
