MTG Ground Segment System Engineering Consultancy DEEUM13001 Job Description The MTG Ground Segment System Engineer will support ground segmentrelated activities for the phase CD of the MTG programme. The duties range from specification, analysis, design, build, deployment and subsequent verification of the ground segment, consisting of the data acquisition systems, monitoring and control systems, data processing and archiving facilities, product dissemination facilities and the encompassing network elements. The MTG Ground Segment System Engineer will perform typical system engineering activities such as Requirements engineering, which consists in requirement analysis and validation, requirement allocation, and requirement maintenance System analysis, which is performed for the purpose of resolving requirements conflicts, decomposing and allocating requirements, assessing system effectiveness Performance of trade studies for assessing effectiveness, risk, cost and planning Design, build and configuration which results in a physical architecture, described by its complete functional, physical and software characteristics Integration and verification, which final objective is to demonstrate that the deliverables conform to the specified requirements.
