In the frame of a new development for the Ariane 5 Upper Stage we are looking for a Project Manager, who will be in charge of the component development and production transition for the next ARTIANE 5 Upper Stage. In this contaxt your responsibilities will include Establishment of proposals according to technical and programmatic specification in cooperation with internal special resources Negotiation of technical, programmatic and financial content with the French customer Monitoring and control of the project to be in line within defined and negotiated schedule, technical performance, cost and quality for the satisfaction of the customer Provision of contractual agreed deliverables and technical solutions towards the customer Management of relationship of project stake holders with customers requirements and expectations Achievement of project milestones technical performance, cost, quality and schedule to satisfy customers needs and in accordance with internal and external rules and standards Supervision and control of a given project team composed of personnel from different departments and functions Matrix Organization for the whole project Safeguarding of an active risk and opportunity management for the project Reporting of the project status towards internal management We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in industrial, aerospace or general engineering or equivalent Good knowledge and experience in project management Experience in Ariane 5 business area would be desirable German and English fluent negotiation level, French skills would be appreciated Driving license If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com. Verifying that the PAS requirements are taken into account by OLS, GS projects. Demonstrating of appropriate application of Management Specifications in coherence with ECSS. Review of contractors PARAMS plans, specifications and effort proposed for the execution of the OLS and GS PAS projects preparing the arrangement for approval of PAS documents engaging ESA responsibility. Guiding and monitoring the implementation of PAS requirements by contractors including NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items and systematically tracking all items in order to assess performanceeffectiveness. Supporting project for development reviews preparation and follow up organization of documentation key points, participation in Project review as Quality animator. Establishing quality status reports, reporting on PAquality issues as Anomalies, Waivers, Alerts, giving confidence of their proper treatment, monitoring reporting on the Critical items safety issues. Responsible for project RAMS management activities status. Organizing with the support of CNES support Quality and Maintenance audits as necessary. Establishing monthly Product Assurance and Safety synthesis in close cooperation with the PAM and with PA Safety support RAMS, technologies. Other tasks in the PAS domain maybe required based on project needs. The tasks may require frequent missions in Europe and in French Guyana. Specific Requirements o Minimum of 6 years experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain. o Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment. o Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset. Knowledge of the ESA NCTS NonConformance Tracking System application. Good knowledge of the English language.
