Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include System engineering support to ESA Future Missions Project for the Ariane launcher development and qualification activities Establish and maintain the qualification files, qualification certificate of the launch system, safety files, and conformity files Loi dOperations Spatiales both for A5 ECA and A5 ES Support the organisation and the conduct of the Qualification Review to be established for the LTQR Launch Technical Qualification Review for the part related to the launch system Monitor and report on the project indicators for the different missions In charge of the Configuration Management for the Ariane 5 ES Galileo adaptation activities and maintaining project documentation database for this mission. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Master degree in Engineering or equivalent At least 4 years of experience in orbital launch vehicle qualification Knowledge of configuration management processes Strong experience interfacing with both agencies and industry Fluency in English, both spoken and written. The following skills would be highly desirable Prior experience in system engineering activities for an Ariane5 class rocket would be an advantage Fluency in French is an asset. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Maintain and implement improvements to the ESA databases of worldwide market demand for commercial and institutional launch services GTO and nonGTO Actively monitor on a daily basis worldwide launch service demand and update the associated databases as necessary generally 4 times per year Perform the forecast of market demand Assess the compatibility of the demand with the launcher systems operated from CSG and their competitors Assess ongoing trends in the evolution of satellite market and related technical requirements, including full electric propulsion for orbit raising Collect technical, strategic and financial information related to the satellite market demand Perform the historical assessment of the satellites launched worldwide Prepare quarterly reports including summary of the services executed action items completed during the reporting period expected date for major schedule items where relevant a list of identified critical problem areas or critical deliverable items and corrective actions planned andor taken, with revised completion dates, where applicable Support the yearly reporting to PBLAU Develop the necessary electronic databases and tools to perform the above. RHEA is currently recruiting a Launcher Product Assurance Safety Expert to be responsible for the Ariane 5 rocket quality assurance at our clients premises in Paris, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Verifying that the PAS requirements are taken into account by the project teams. Reviewing contractors plans, specifications, and assess their performance and effectiveness. Ensuring that the PAS requirements are properly addressed by the Prime Manufacturer and throughout the overall contractual chain, and proposing the necessary preventive and corrective actions if needed. Participation in project review, contribution to design, acceptance TRR, TRB, and safety reviews. Organizing quality and maintenance audits, produce reports on audit activities performed. Participating to RAMS management activities status. Reporting on project PAS status deviations from plan schedule. The job may require frequent missions in Europe. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 12 years of experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain. Strong knowledge of the launcher industry. Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment. Fluent in English both writing and speaking. The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001.
