We are looking for a Data Systems Manager. The working language for the position is English and therefore the key person must be able to work effectively in this language. Profile Required Skills and Experience Experience in providing engineering services for data centres or for advanced software Experience in the management, development and maintenance of Mission Data Systems Experience in DevOps Experience with advanced application deployment automation solutions containers, Chef Experience with public and private Cloud environments Experience in Mission Data Systems projects and documentation Ability to capture the bigger picture and the system context Coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields, as well as capability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Industry and SSA Segment teams Team spirit, good communication skills and cooperative attitude Awareness of the technology trends and interest in RD Ability to work independently Fluent spoken and written English Desirable Skills and Experience Knowledge of SSA systems, ESOC infrastructure and ESOC operational environment Knowledge of standards in engineering and quality Experience dealing with external partners Familiarity with the coordination of Mission Data Systems Ability to multitask efficiently Responsibility The key person will manage data systems including software applications for the domains of Space Weather, Near Earth Objects and Space Surveillance and Tracking. The following responsabilies are foreseen not limited to Support the deployment, validation and operations of Space Situational Awareness SSA applications, developed in the context of industrial activities Setup, configuration and management of DEVOPS environment for SSA systems, including automation of application deployment solution Supportcontribute to the Programme data management evolution OnSite software development for adhoc RD projects, innovation tasks, Lab projects The key person will work in close cooperation with our customer onsite team in order to drive innovation through implementing DevOps technologies and championing DevOps culture. In this context, the following activities are foreseen Automating CICD processes Providing training in usage of CICD, container orchestration, and DevOps tools. Develop release approach using automated, containerised deployment techniques Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce manual steps Analyse root causes of issues and provide corrective actions. Evaluate new tools and techniques to drive efficiencies. Manage Cloud infrastructure services and accounts. Keep evolving system and application monitoring infrastructure Drive data engineering initiatives and innovation Design scale data management products Enable and facilitate a datadriven culture for internal and external clients,

Profile Mandatory skills and relevant experience in Engineering of large, UNIX or LINUX based, complex, realtime data processing systems, including requirements specification, design, software maintenance or development, formal software testing and system integration Very good technical writing skills, in particular in the area of formal technical documentation e.g. requirements specification and design documentation, test plans and procedures, maintenance procedures Source code control systems e.g. Subversion, Git Software anomalies analysis, debugging, profiling, fixing and processing Additional skills and experience considering as an added value Operating systems and application software upgrades andor porting to new platforms Objectoriented software design, implementation, and maintenance, including the use of UMLSysML based tools for supportingdocumenting the design, at least at the architectural level Web technologies and programming e.g. Apache, CGI, JavaScript, XML programming languages e.g. C, Java, Python Responsibility The following responsabilies are foreseen not limited to Contribute to the maintenance and development activities related to the Data Processing SystemsApplication Software Contribute to the definition and design of architectures of data processing ground segments and their components, their interfaces, and the validation and verification methods Coordinationinputs to planning and preparation of releases Coordination with other Teams andor Contractors to prepare introduction of newupgraded components as indicated by your Technical Officer Generation and maintenance of technical baseline documentation Contribute to the operations of existing data processing ground segments Participation in technical meetings and formal reviews Analysis of the maintenance requirements and identification, procurement or implementation of the tools required to fulfil them Settingup and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures Perform routine tasks in operational systems under configuration control such as Anomaly investigations, documentation and classification Participation in relevant Anomaly Review Boards Follow up of the delivery of software resolutions for these anomalies Contribute to Configuration Management change control practices Contribute to building and distribution of application software releases and patches Verification of correct facility installation for the assigned facilities Contribute to the development, integration and configuration management of software developed by third parties, its installation, and configuration and testing Perform software testing in a structured approach to verify that delivered software is fulfilling the requirements or to demonstrate that problems have been corrected

(Telecompaper) Spain's fifth largest operator Euskaltel has revealed the launch offer for its new Virgin Telco brand, available in 85 percent of the Spanish market where it's not currently present via the Orange Spain network. The flexible range of tariffs include an FTTH offer at speeds of up to 300Mbps for EUR 33 a month, rising to EUR 39 for 600Mbps broadband. This can be converted into a convergent plan with the addition of a mobile line with 20GB of 4G data and unlimited calls for an extra EUR 6 a month, rising to EUR 29 for a mobile line with unlimited calls and data.
