We are looking for a Personal Data Protection Analyst M3 to join our Modis Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. This is an assignment for one year. General tasks to be performed The role is to support the analysis of data processing operations, data flow, services, applications, etc. and to contribute to the identification of risk, risk mitigation in order to comply with regulatory requirements and ESA policies. Tasks and Responsibilities Support on the inventory of all business processes that involve personally identifiable data. Identify what personal data is processed in which business process. Define the legitimate purpose, for each business process. Identify any personal data not meeting the processing purpose criteria incl. backups. Determine and document legal grounds for processing. Determine data flow throughout its lifecycle. Identify data processors involved in business processes. Identify by what means data is processed for each process. Propose amendments to existing business processes to ensure data minimization. Identify risk assessment and mitigation. Update templates to reflect changes. Support documentation, reporting and monitoring. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Bachelor degree on Law or equivalent combined with Business Analysis and legal background. In depth knowledge and experience in EU personal data protection law. Excellent English writing skills. Experience in analysis of personal data in data flows. Experience in information systems auditing, risk and mitigation of risk. Practice in Data Protection Impact Assessments. Attention to detail. Capable of manage confidential information. Experience in information systems auditing, risk and mitigation of risk. Practice in Data Protection Impact Assessments. Attention to detail. Capability to manage confidential information. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks The contractor shall support the Sentinel3 PDGS Operations with respect to EUMETSATs Marine Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS maintenance in particular anomaly correction and software release processes in the area of data processing systems The duties will include a range of tasks, from preparing and providing the support of the day to day operations and maintenance, the analysis and testing of deployments including the handling of anomalies, and the design of upgrades and configuration changes for these facilities.
