Manager, Solution Architecture, Commercial Applications Luxembourg Betzdorf ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The incumbent, within the Commercial Applications team will play a critical role in ensuring the commercial application landscape is fit for purpose when it comes to the everchanging demands of the SES business. The incumbent will do this by architecting solutions following the SES architectural principals and existing solutions first, then going to market and implementing new solutions as needed. They would be responsible to oversee the implementation, where external support is needed, ensure any new applications or commercial functions are introduced seamlessly into the adaptable architecture aligned with the overall SES Enterprise Architecture strategy, and properly handed over to the established Solution Development team for continuous improvements. To be effective in this role, the incumbent must establish strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including the consumers of the applications in scope, the vendors assisting SES in supporting them the SES management teams whose departments depend on the applications. Lastly, they must stay up to date on technology trends and SES business trends and recommend solutions where there is a match. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Supervise assigned staff, potentially including subordinate managers. Establish employee objectives and developmental goals, maintain priorities, assign accountabilities, and manage the performance and salary review processes Manage their part of the department budget, including annual budget setting, and continuous adherence and optimization Managing the strategic direction of the CRM platform Dynamics 365 and the rest of the commercial applications Designing endtoend solutions that are Future proof to the extent reasonable Generic enough for reusability Flexible to adjust to the rapidly changing business they will support Seamlessly integrating into the OSS, ERP, and production domain applications Ensure the setting of realistic expectations about the scope and timing of deliveries, following and improving on the established and AGILE SES IT processes for delivery and project management Provide excellent customer service to the consumers of the provided application services COMPETENCIES Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, meet goals and provide results under tight deadlines with integrity and quality standards not compromised Ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising professional standards Proven ability to take and challenge business requirements to find the most efficient, effective, and elegant solutions possible adhering closely to AGILE principles and values Strong ability to manage hybrid teams, of employees, consultants and partners Excellent team player with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization, and coordinate deliveries across different areas Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to nontechnical colleagues Excellent communication and presentation skills QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE BachelorsMasters Degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or Business Administration 10 or more years of related experience, including management experience with budget responsibilities Minimum five to seven years of applicable professional experience in a similar role software development project management Minimum five years of experience in CRM implementation configuration, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience with other enterprise class CRMs are welcome Completed at least two full life cycles of CRM implementation or integrations Has good knowledge of commercial business processes, including Salesforce Automation Lead to Order, Customer Service Delivery Ticketing and Marketing segmentationLead Management and Commercial financial operations including billing and sales target reporting. The European GNSS Agency GSA is responsible for the operations and service provision for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS EGNOS and Galileo. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Commercial and High Accuracy Service Manager contributes actively to the fulfilment of the Agencys responsibilities related to the implementation, supervision, development and evolutions of the Commercial and High Accuracy services.
