Package description Excellent Salary Corporate Benefits Package Relocation Assistance if applicable Further information available from the Serco Europe Recruitment Team Main responsibilities The Communications team at ESAs European Astronaut Centre promotes Human and Robotic Exploration of Space by a multitude of platforms, ranging from digital, social and traditional media to events. It furthermore coordinates all public outreach activities regarding ESA astronauts and their missions. The EAC Communication Team in Cologne, Germany, requires a writing, editing and digital communications support. The ideal candidate will support the EAC Communication Team and will conduct the following tasks Oversee, prepare and implement communication campaigns for human exploration missions in cooperation with ESA Country Desks, Media Relations and the ESA Newsroom, on international level as well as on Member Statenational level. Set up the execution of media and institutional partnerships related to ESA astronauts missions. Oversee and implement editorial work on digital, social, mobile and video channels related to the aforementioned campaigns and other exploration activities. Planning and execution of ESAEAC participation in events and exhibitions regarding its activities, as well as regarding Human and Robotic exploration in general. Execute media relations and respective activities and events, e.g. press conferences at EAC. Implement ESAs internal communications strategy at EAC. Support the implementation of a broader communication of EAC future activities. Administrate and coordinate ESA Astronauts Public Appearances in accordance with the HREO Policy on Astronaut Appearance. With regard to the task above, work with the PAROS ESA astronaut Public Appearance Request Organisation System. Coordinatesupport European media, ESA partners and delegations for visitsfilminginterviews at EAC and its partner institutions JSCGCTC Coordinate and maintain documents related to EAC PR communications policy, operations and procedures. Newsroom Site Communication General coordination and participation in boards and meetings. Maintain the stock of PR material such as documentation, photographs and videos on EAC and its activities including astronauts Ideal candidate The successful candidate shall have a degree at Masters Level, an equivalent degree or equivalent professional expertise 5 to 10 years, preferably in the field of Science and Technology Communication, public and media relations or Marketing The ideal candidate should also have Experience with PR event management and the organisation of news conferences is desired Excellent fluent written and spoken business English. The following skills shall be considered an asset Fluent written and spoken business Italian Good working knowledge of French and basic knowledge of German is desirable Strong background in science tech communication and related organisational and administrative aspects, preferably with knowledge of the space sector and ESA and its nature as an intergovernmental space agency. Aurora is an established supplier of skilled manpower to ESA and in particular at ESTEC and ESAC. Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support within ESAC. Overview We are looking for a Cloud Expert to lend onsite support at ESAESAC, located in Madrid, Spain. For the tasks and activities the candidate shall Analyse Cloud status and its standardization. Automate services configuration and deployment. Explore new automation methodologies. Present automation proof of concept. Define and implement automation architecture. Reengineering of cloud architectures. Implement cloud architectures changes. Evaluate and implement use cases. Have previous experience with public cloud providers, AWS Amazon Web Services and or Google Cloud are preferred. Experience with private cloud deployment and maintenance. Experience with automated deployment technologies. Working knowledge and understanding of current Cloud Computing technologies, strategies solutions. A good level of written and spoken Englishand Spanish isdesirable. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in Spain without the need to obtain a work visa.
