RHEA is currently recruiting a Ground Segment Operations Engineer to provide engineering support to the GSA for continuing the preparation of the Galileo exploitation phases. Please note that position is based at our clients premises in Prague. Tasks and Activities The primary task for this position will be to contribute to a new Galileo Service Operator GSOp ITT that will be prepared over the course of 2014 and conducted in 2015. Working alongside the ITT integrated, consisting of members from ESA, the European Commission and the GSA, your envisaged tasks and activities include Ensuring that GSA needs are addressed throughout the preparation of the GSOp tender and that such needs are injected into the current Operations WP6 contract extension Change Request Evaluating current WP6 documentation and site infrastructure GCC and Remote Sites, as required Contributing to the definition of the Galileo Operations Handover plan based on current WP6 contract constraints to new GSOp contract Contributing to the definition of the GCC handover concept, considering the current WP6 GCC operations concept Supporting the definition of the Operational requirements in the ITT SoW Supporting the definition of Ground Segment Maintenance concepts and related requirements in the ITT SoW Contributing to the evaluation of proposals received from the bidders during the Selection, the Negotiation phases and the BAFO, for the parts related to GCSGMS Operations and to the ILS Maintenance Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience University degree in Engineering Minimum 3 years of previous work experience on Galileo Ground Segment and Operations Strong understanding of Galileo ILS and Maintenance aspects Excellent communication skills previous experience liaising with both ESA and the European Commission would be an asset Fluency in English How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
