We are looking for you as EDRS Operations Products Verification Engineer mf EDRS European Data Relay System is a satellite based high data rate optical communication system for relaying user data received from low earth orbit LEO satellites via geostationary satellites directly to the ground for further distribution. As a Verification Validation Engineer for Operations Products, you are responsible for the validation of flight procedures. Your activities will be performed in close cooperation with system engineering, spacecraft prime and operations contractor. The holder of this position will be located at Ottobrunn and reports to the head of the engineering team. Regular shift work is not required with exception of InorbitTest support. Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in one of Europes most outstanding projects in the area of development and construction of satellites? This could be your field of responsibility Your tasks consist of Verification of flight procedures on spacecraft simulator Verification of telecommand and telemetry database Verification of ground and flight crypto procedures Support of operational readiness reviews Support to LEOP and IOT activities Support to user commissioning and final acceptance Technical assessment of nonconformances, discrepancies and waivers Support of the EDRS quality management process Your profile requires A degree in Aerospace or other related Engineering Profound knowledge of space systems Experience with Unix and Windows based operating systems Ability to document the own work according to ESA standards Programming skills TCL, Java, Python are considered an asset Ability to operate in a multinational team organisation Work style characterised by autonomy, proactive behaviour and cooperation Good communication and interpersonal skills In addition the following experiences are considered as an asset Experience with ESA and ESA standards Language skills English fluent, German language skill are advantageous We offer Focused Training and performance oriented career development Competitive remuneration Opportunity to work in exciting challenging international projects In case you find our offer attractive please send your application documents via Email to careercamspacegmbh.de to CAM Space GmbH Dr. Bernhard Eberz Westendstr. 193 80686 Mnchen Germany
