The Flight Operations System is composed of the Mission Control System, the Flight Dynamics System and Ops Prep Tools. The TM Propagator Tool is used for the distribution over the Internet to the endusers of spacecraft and ground telemetry in realtime and also playback. PROFILE The consultant should have the following background A minimum of 5 years experience in the following areas Design and maintenance of Satellite Mission Control Systems, Flight Dynamics Systems and Mission Planning Systems Full development lifecycle of application software, including integration, verification testing and maintenance phases, following formal software engineering processes Software engineering applied to design and development of software components and applications using Object Oriented OO approach Space related standards ECSS and CCSDS concerning spacetoground interfaces and applicable to Satellite Mission Control Systems Development of software applications using C under UNIX operating systems For more Details about the Tasks, please feel free to contact Mr. Gustavo Gomez Recruitment Associate

Satellite Mission Performance Technical Engineering Consultant Our UK based Client is seeking consulting services to provide technical assessment and risk oversight on the technical profile of satellite launch vehicle mission onboard components in order to quantify, evaluate and assess the risks they represent in terms of missionperformance failure and insurance coverage. You will have extensive years of system enginering experience ideally gained with a satellite operator. Detailed knowledge of the main spacecraft bus designs from major satellite manufacturers SSL, Astrium, Thales Alenia Space, Boeing, Lockheed Martin is a definite plus. This is an analysis activity on a parttime basis that can be run from home, with regular travels to UK and possibly to satellite technical briefings or manufacturing facilities.
