Sensitive Touch Sensor can be used behind metal or glass sheet.

Employing QTC™ (Quantum Tunnelling Composite) technology, QTC Ultra Sensor™ can be mounted behind 0.1 mm stainless steel or 0.5 mm glass sheet and still detect pressure of one finger on top of sheet. It only takes deflection of ~1 micron to sense touch through sheet, and sensor can be fitted as small piece of QTC sheeting or screen printed on back of steel plate as required by product designer. Product has no air gap or moving parts and works equally well with plastics or wood. This story is related to the following:Pressure Sensors
Cut Your Sensor Count But Not Your Data
2013-05-23 06:00:00| Chemical Processing
You likely are spending more money than required on field sensors not because you've selected the wrong sensors but because you have too many of them. "How can I have too many sensors when I barely have enough information now to monitor and control my process? What I really...
Linear Hall Effect Sensor detects low magnetic field strengths.

Housed in moldable TO92UT package, HAL® 835 offers ESD protection for use in automotive industry. Smallest measurement range can be extended to ±15 mT with 12-bit resolution and differential nonlinearity of less than 0.9 LSB. Unit provides analog/PWM output as well as multiplex-analog output. Implemented digital back-bias cancellation minimizes influence of interfering static magnetic fields. Designed for junction temperatures up to 170°C, sensor has integrated EEPROM for parameter storage. This story is related to the following:Magnetic Field Sensors | Hall Effect Sensors
