RHEA is currently recruiting a Junior Operations Preparation Engineer to support the spacecraft integration of Solar Orbiter at our clients premises in Stevenage, UK. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Contributing to the preparation of the Space Segment User Manual SSUM and Procedures including command, telemetry, design and operational concept descriptions, identification of operational constraints and definition of ground monitoring, flight control and contingency recovery procedures Maintenance of the SSUM and Procedures following the Spacecraft Integrator Change Control process Review of the Flight Operations Plan Provision of operations support during Spacecraft AITAIV including maintenance of validation status logs Provision of customer support during System and Operational Validation Tests preparation and execution Provision of input data needed for build of flight software versions Provision of inputs to the satellite data base Participation in formal reviews including SSUM, spacecraft, equipment and subsystem reviews. Maintenance of operations budgets In addition, Participate in Project technical and progress meeting and be the person you Provide inputs to system progress reports Participate in regular progress meetings Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Physics, Engineering or equivalent At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in Spacecraft Operations Preparation Knowledge of document control and management Excellent communication skills are a must Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong command of spoken and written English How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
