TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The ICT System Architect reports to the ICT Operations Team Leader or his assignee. The ICT System Architects tasks and responsibilities shall in principle include without limitation and subject to adjustment by hisher line manager Management of GSA infrastructure and information systems lifecycle Management of GSA infrastructure and architecture evolution process Management and analysis of GSA enterprise architecture in order to follow best practises and trends Management of design and other relevant processes of infrastructure projects Management of integration process of GSA infrastructure and software development projects Cooperation on defining and refining the architecture of GSA software development projects Administration of the GSA ICT systems on advanced level up to level of SECRET EU, including Administration of Microsoft Failover clusters Administration of Microsoft HyperV platform and virtual servers Administration of Active Directory services Administration of File and Print services Administration of SharePoint services Administration of Cisco networking devices Administration of Cisco firewalling devices Ensure the optimal performance, availability, maintenance and reliability of all GSA systems Ensure the maintenance, development and provision of the system documentation Ensure the continuous development and improvement of the systems Ensure the maintenance and testing of the ICT Disaster Recovery Plan Participate in hand over activities of newly procured or developed software or system to production environment Participate in maintenance of the ICT part of the GSA Business Continuity Plan Ensure 2nd and 3rd level of support business customers Create reports in regular basis or on demand Contribute to the management of ICT projects related to the ICT Operations as a subject matter expert Participate in selection and evaluation of outside specialists and subcontractors if needed Keep up with the latest ICT infrastructure technologies in order to actively contribute to the continues ICT infrastructure modernisation ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA The selection procedure is open to applicants who satisfy the following eligibility criteria, on the closing date for application 1.
