Summary An outstanding opportunity for an experienced PA Safety Support Engineer to work for Telespazio VEGA onsite at ESA HQ, Paris. Objective To provide support to the ESA Ariane 5 Exploitation Product Assurance Surveillance Manager for designated projects in conducting, monitoring and assessing the implementation of the PA Safety Programme. Responsibilities Duties Responsible for PA Safety support for Ariane 5 Operational Launch System Project OLS, Launchers Ground Segment Project GS, with occasional support to Future Mission Projects. Verifying that the PAS requirements are taken into account by OLS, GS projects. In support to OLS GS Project managers, and in close relationships with the PAM other PA officer coordinating with the related CNESDLA PA S support. Demonstrating of appropriate application of Management Specifications in coherence with ECSS Review of contractors PARAMS plans, specifications and effort proposed for the execution of the OLS and GS PAS projects preparing the arrangement for approval of PAS documents engaging ESA responsibility Guiding and monitoring the implementation of PAS requirements by contractors including NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items and systematically tracking all items in order to assess performanceeffectiveness Participation in design,acceptance TRR, TRB and safety reviews and directing the necessary preventive or corrective actions. Representing ESA in the Boards established within the projects for the disposition of Nonconformances Failure Reviews, MRB, Acceptance Reviews, Test Reviews, etc. Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above to the project Management and the Ariane PA and Safety Manager Organizing with the support of CNES support Quality and Maintenance audits as necessary. Supporting project for development reviews preparation and follow up organization of documentation key points, participation in Project review as Quality animator. Summary An exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work as an EGSE Software Engineer for Telespazio VEGA on site at ESTEC within the System Modelling and Functional Verification Section of the Software Systems Division. Objective To provide on demand expertise in activities related to space system database software production. Responsibilities Duties The engineer will provide on demand expertise in activities related to space system database software production. This includes but is not limited to Providing technical support to projects on specific issues related to space system database software development including software problem solving, exchange and interfaces with external systems, project reviews Support for the Space System Database reference facility using in conjunction with the EGSE reference facility, including isolating and fixing software problems The engineer will be assigned to the System Modelling and Functional Verification Section of the Software Systems Division.
