Aurora is an established supplier of skilled manpower to ESA and in particular at ESTEC and ESAC. Overview We are looking for an experienced IT Developer and Systems Engineer, to join our team which provides onsite support at ESAC, located in Madrid, Spain. The candidate will provide Specific Computer Engineering Support for the SciOps technical IT Unit team at ESAC. It involves system administration activities for those computer systems used for science operations and research activities to all science operations centres and science ground segments located at ESAC, either in development, operational or in postoperational phase. These computers are general servers or workstations mainly based on Linux and Sun Solaris, Macintoshes, PC for Office Automation activities. The environment also includes Disk Storage infrastructure, Virtual infrastructure as well as GRIDCluster and Cloud computing infrastructures. Systems can be physical machines or provided through virtual and cloud infrastructure. These systems are connected to networks organized by functions operational, office and development, external services, GRID, Cloud and administration networks. It specifically excludes ESA corporate informatics infrastructure services office automation, network, terminal servers, Lotus Notes, MS office, LAN and communications, In particular we are looking for candidates to provide evolution within the following areas virtualization, cloud, storage, monitoring, machine data analytics, containers, hadoopspark, backup, with a focus on lean and automation. A specific support on the following tasks is requested Installation and administration of container orchestration environments Installation and administration of spark and hadoop cluster Automation of any of the tasks described in this work package. Specific qualification requirements A relevant University degree, preferably a Masters in Computer Science. At least 4 years of relevant working experience in the activities mentioned above. Ideally the candidate shall have a broad experience, working in diverse companies with IT automation projects. Specific knowledge is required in the following areas Container orchestration e.g. kubernetes Big data technologies e.g. spark, hadoop IT automation technologies e.g. Ansible, StackStorm, Terraform Knowledge of agile methodologies andor ITIL framework is also an asset. The working language is English and Spanish is desirable. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in Spain without the need to obtain a work visa. Only European Union EU, European Economic Area EEA and SWISS citizens can be employed by Aurora in Spain. Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. In line with ESAs security requirements, prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident, and Aurora will validate your employment history. Location It is expected that the work will be performed at the ESAC, the European Space Astronomy Centre at Villafranca del Castillo, near Madrid Spain. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration. You will be registered for both social security and tax in Spain. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. In addition to public health services Aurora provides private medical insurance in Spain to the employee. Customer Service Manager, Video Infrastructure and Services, Americas United States Princeton, New Jersey Your Job The CSM role is a customer facing position with responsibility for direct interaction with the customer while leading the effort to implement, operate and maintain SES Video infrastructure and services that are delivered to the customer. The CSM will focus on supporting existing services and rolling out new services for customers. The CSM owns the customer relationship on behalf of the Global Services organisation from Post Sales activities to service delivery and ongoing operations and maintenance support. The CSM is responsible for managing the Program delivery, maintaining operational performance and SLAs, and driving service quality. The CSM is the key Voice of the Customer within SES Video for all Post Sales customer journey touchpoints, understanding what each customer values the most in terms of operational support and ensuring that the whole SES Video team interfaces with the customer to drive service quality to maintain and enhance revenue. The CSM plays an important role in maintaining current business and securing new business. The CSM will be the main services leader driving the relationship with the customer and will have frequent interaction with the customer onsite and remotely.
