One of our Space Clients based in Germany is looking for a System Engineer for the Electrical Power Systems for their Satellite program. Role Specification Design, analysis and configuration of power systems for satellite applications using solar generators, batteries and control units Support to the selection and supervision of subcontractors Production and maintenance of documenation analyses, specifications, test procedures, reports and design descriptions Oversee the interfaces with other satellite subsystems Development of test concepts and provide suitable support during testing Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance Interface to customers and subcontractors Required Qualifications A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or comparable qualifications Several years of professional experience in the space business are a plus Knowledge in electrical power supply of satellites Experience with hardware projects in phase BCD, preferably in the field of electrical power systems Experience with CAE development tools Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently Fluency in spoken and written English

Qualifications and Requirements Applicants require a PhD or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Physics.
