Main Responsibilities As MicrowaveMmWave Technology and Equipment Engineer you will be responsible of the below tasks Contribute to the design, development and performance evaluation of RF technologies applicable to space and ground segments, with particular emphasis on active RF equipment and components HPAs, LNAs, TR modules, etc. in MMIC and hybrid forms Provide expert technical support to projects and programmes Contribute to the generation of innovative ideas in the field of RF equipment and technologies and to the definition of ESA RD programmes Define technical requirements and statements of work for the tasks to be performed by industry from early conceptual studies to full hardware development Contribute to the developmentusage of section related laboratory facilities and analysissimulation tools Maintain stateoftheart expertise by interacting with research Institutes, monitoring the technological trends and applying them in the daytoday work Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring Masters degree in Microwave or RF Electronics Engineering Good background on RF equipment and technologies for space application Several years of working experience on Active RF equipment, components and technologies

BT selects Nokia to replace Huawei as 5G network equipment vendor

(Telecompaper) Nokia has signed a contract to deliver 5G network equipment to BT, making Nokia BT's largest infrastructure partner. The contract support BT's commitment to the UK government around the use of High Risk Vendors (HRVs) in network infrastructure, which resulted in the ban of Chinese technology company Huawei.
