Behind the stability in prices, China's textile production has experienced a double-digit decline this year, with operating rates being lowered significantly to limit the fall in margins. Yarn prices have remained mostly stable in the last week in India, with a few offers being lowered, however. The fall in yarn prices has been limited by a drop in operating rates in the last months, as margins were negatively affected by the pandemic.
