China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)
2018-12-04 21:25:50| EmergingTextiles.com
Spun yarn prices have continued slightly declining in the last seven days in China. The stabilization of fiber prices should however result in lower margins at spinning mills, with operating rates expected to be further reduced. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Import prices are also available for yarns from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. All data are available for download.

Wool Prices in Australia (Weekly Report)
2018-12-04 19:25:58| EmergingTextiles.com
Wool prices have remained firm this week in Australia after previously rebounding. Our report delivers a comprehensive view of wool prices in Australia, with a long list of micron types in A$, US$ and euro terms. Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)
2018-12-03 15:24:54| EmergingTextiles.com
Cotton futures were this Monday rebounding in electronic trading in Asia after Washington and Beijing have announced a 3-month trade truce, with China potentially buying larger quantities of US agricultural products. The 25% additional tariff on China's imports of US cotton should limit any rebound in demand and prices, if not removed. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.

Viscose Staple Fiber and Spun Yarn Prices (Weekly Report)
2018-12-03 15:24:54| EmergingTextiles.com
Viscose staple fiber prices have begun bottoming out in China, after inventories have fallen to very low levels at spinning mills. Spun yarn prices could stop declining as a result but the recovery could rapidly end, however, due to ambient pessimism in the Chinese yarn industry. Our weekly report covers the viscose/rayon staple fiber and filament markets over the last 12 months. Viscose spun yarn prices in China, India and Pakistan are also available. Cotton linter, cotton pulp and wood pulp prices on domestic and import markets are being tracked over the last 12 months, in addition.

Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)
2018-12-03 13:26:03| EmergingTextiles.com
Crude oil prices have today rebounded as a result of the 3-month trade truce agreed by China and the United States on Saturday. A more positive mood could trigger a rebound of demand in the polyester chain, at least for replenishing inventories in anticipation of higher prices in the remainder of the year. Any recovery could however be limited, as analyzed in our weekly report covering the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Asian Contract Prices (ACPs) are also available for the PX, PTA and MEG markets in Asia, with 5-year charts and downloadable historical data.
