Polyester chain prices are now rising across the board in China, including paraxylene, PTA, MEG, polyester chips, polyester filament yarns and even polyester staple fiber prices today up 200 yuan per MT. The fall of the renminbi has inflated raw material costs of PTA producers whereas demand from polyester filament weavers was staying very strong.
