US Apparel Imports in 1st Quarter 2017: China vs. Rest of World (Statistical Report)
2017-09-05 09:00:00| EmergingTextiles.com
China has gained shares of the US apparel import market in volume terms, in the first half this year. Such a recovery has been allowed by a fall of unit prices with Chinese shipments actually losing market shares in value terms. The picture is however very contrasted, depending on apparel categories. This is reflected by our statistical review comparing US apparel imports from China with shipments from Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products, in volume, value and unit value terms. Historical data cover the first half of the past five years, from 2012-2017.
