Clothing imports have declined more significantly in European countries that have remained for a longer period of time in lockdown, with Italy and Spain primarily affected. German imports have less dramatically dropped as a result. Our 5-year data from the second quarter and the first half of 2015-20 reflect long-term trends of European Union clothing markets, offering a comprehensive review of the European Union imports per destination.
