American Architectural Manufacturers Association's (AAMA) air-water-structural product certification program was granted accreditation by ANSI in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065-2012. Scope of accreditation covers Doors and Windows (91.050.60). AAMA certification manager Jason Seals said that accreditation helps "ensure that products certified by AAMA licensees meet the product standards as claimed by their labeling and listings in the AAMA Certified Products Directory."

Re-worked to be more performance focused and less prescriptive, update includes new test report section and clarified scope. Specification does not imply specific service life or cover fasteners.
