For our activities in Germany, we are looking for a person to provide Senior Graphic Designer Consultancy Support. Requirements gathering To attend kickoffbriefing meetings to gatherdiscuss information on the scope of new projects, including information on key messages, target audiences and expected outcomes. This will include identifying subjectmatter experts the design team can liaise with where relevant. Concept Development To develop concept designslayouts for brochures, events, campaigns and other designbrandrelated material based on the briefproject requirements and in accordance with the EUMETSAT Brand Guidelines. This will include the development of concepts for new conference and campaign branding to include event logo, signage, promotional materials, presentation styles, etc., brochure layoutdesigns, displayexhibition graphics, signage and environmental design of EUMETSAT buildingsfacilities, posters, invitation cards and various communication material for printelectronic distribution. Presentation To present design concepts within the SCIR Division and to other EUMETSAT employees, including highlevel management and to capture their feedback for further development of the selected design. Design Development To develop a selected design for all required materials based on feedback, final written and visual content requirements, and in adherence to the EUMETSAT brand guidelines. This support will involve the coordination of various simultaneous projects and their delivery on time and in the required quality. Artwork Production To finalise the artwork for all developed design material to the required printelectronic quality, including the production of computergenerated graphics and diagrams for print, electronic and direct computer use. This will include the development andor amendment of graphic diagrams, layout design, typesetting, and delivery of final electronic files for printing and publication online. Brand Development To contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the EUMETSAT brand, as well as campaign, event and partnership branding, ensuring that the guidelines reflect the most recent branding practices Electronic Image Storage and Distribution To ensure all new images are uploaded to the EUMETSAT image management system celum IMAGINE on a regular basis and keyworded accordingly. To supply internal and external users with electronic files of assorted imagery, design elements, graphicsillustrations, and logo files if and when requested In addition, the Senior Graphic Designer may be required to provide special expertise and support whenever asked to do so by the Technical Officer. Mandatory skillsexperiences A recognised qualification in graphic design or visual communications A minimum of five years professional experience in a senior graphic designer role Fluency in verbal and written English Experience of the complete cycle of designing and developing conceptdriven brand campaigns across a wide range of media print, electronic, exhibition, display, etc, preferably with technicalscientific content Knowledge and practical experience of the graphic design artworkproduction process Interpersonal skills to handle a wide variety of internal and external customers Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint software on Apple OS and Windows. EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format Distinct advantage Experience in presentingpitching design concepts to senior management Experience of working independently on design projects from start to finish Experience of working within a team for larger projects Experience of working on technically or scientifically challenging projects in an international organisation An interest in photography and video production.

One of our clients in the UK is looking for a Senior Mission Concepts Engineer. The key candidate will lead mission and top level system design for a range of space missions including Earth observation, science and exploration, in orbit services, telecoms and navigation. Tasks New Mission Concepts Work with Principal Investigators, Heads of Business, Business Development team and RD project teams to identify and develop new mission concepts. Perform requirements capture and subsequent development of the mission concept solution covering space, ground and user segment implementation. Perform design activities with the focus on a cost engineered solution and with appropriate challenging of requirements to develop solutions with a high performancecost ratio. Perform the required mission analysis to verify integrity of solutions. Generate a set of required enabling technologies to be developed, for input into the companys technology roadmaps. Studies Lead studies into future concepts for a wide variety of customers and institutions, including the European Space Agency. Manage studies to meet technical requirements, cost and schedule. Deliver technical outputs of studies in the form of high quality technical reports and presentations to customers. Bids Work with the Heads of Business, Business Development team and Engineering teams to support business development activities to generate cost effective technical solutions. Manage and contribute to both technical and management inputs study bids for a variety of customers and institutions, including ESA. Qualifications A degree, or equivalent in Engineering, Physics or Maths. Experience Space mission design to the subsystem level covering space and ground segments starting from end user requirements. The experience should cover a range of mission types including Telecoms and Earth Observation. Managing, and technically leading, space mission design studies and proposals. Mission analysis for a range of space based mission types. Knowledge and Skills Excellent technical writing and presentation generating and delivering skills. Excellent knowledge of orbit analysis, system budgets, operations, ground segment, space environment and satellite mechanical and electrical architectures. Excellent knowledge of a wide range of satellite applications. Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales. Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent knowledge of STK and Matlab or equivalent analysis tools.
