Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Preparation of procedures and plans, planning and execution of liquid, gas and electrical functional tests of the propulsion system of a satellite Setup and dismantling of the test setup as well as preparation and maintenance of the required GSE Independent conduction of these tests on the propulsion subsystem Performing of mechanical integration work. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or related areas Several years of professional experience in the field of AIT, especially testing of space propulsion systems Practical experience in dealing with the usual FGSE and MGSE for propulsion systems Familiarity with the physical laws in hydraulic and pneumatic systems in both stationary and dynamic applications Communicative, teamoriented, careful, flexible Knowledge of handling hazardous liquids, gases and high pressures Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility Effective and independent way of working Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Your day to day activities As a Test Engineer on our team, you will be working on a Mission Critical System that is part of the Galileo infrastructure. Your contribute to the security aspects and data protection of this navigation mission. Your main task is verification of the system requirements which includes writing, updating and running test procedures. The system is characterized by a high level of complexity. In addition, you will perform investigations of NonConformances by means of observing and reporting NCRs. Your responsibilities will include Execution of integration and verification tests Investigation of anomalies, reporting the results of the investigation and archiving all proof and logs required to reproduce the anomaly Maintenance of Test Procedures, Requirements Traceability and Test Results Documents Integration and maintenance of the Test Bench according to the requirements. The Test Bench includes both the system under test and the test tools Integration of new elements into the Test Bench System Integration Verification SIV support by preparation and validation of SIV Operations training support by verifying that the requested scenario can be run on the Test Bench, and assistance during the execution of the scenario ESA support by preparation of test data. Things you need to be successful You have a strong interest in verifying requirements for a highly complex space system. You are inquisitive, a fast learner and able to investigate and diagnose technical problems. You are wellorganized, energetic with a high level of attention to detail. You also have Experience in testing large complex systems Interest andor experience with IT Network Infrastructure CryptographicSecurity experience DOORS, DXL scripting ISTQB certification Valid Security Clearance SC or eligible for SC Experience with space projects, ECSS standards or equivalent and test automation is desirable. In this position you will be part of the OHB electronic equipment design and test team for satellite electronic units. You will work in an international project environment and will be located at the Bremen site within the OHB Group. In order to provide our customer with an excellent Assembly, Integration, and Verification AIV service, we are looking for a software engineer ideally with experience in the Earth Observation Domain. Responsibilities Duties The principal task of the AIV engineering service team is to perform the AIV engineering activities foreseen for the integration, validation and verification of the MTG system, coordinated by the EUMETSAT Technical Officer. As a member of the future MTG AIV Engineering support team, you will be tasked with Interaction with the MTG System Team for the procurement of test data identified in the Test Specifications, including the analysis of received deliverables and attending acceptance testsM Identification and development of additional tools to generate adhoc test data or to anaylse the test results Generation of test data using the available tools, but also by reconditioningmodifying the ones procured in coordination with the MTG system team Configuration Management of tools and test datasets Due to the complexity of the entire MTG mission, it is also foreseen, that you will Contribute to maintain the AIV schedule in coordination with the AIV engineering responsible Contribute to evolution of the VCD in coordination with the Requirements verification team Contribute, if needed, to the preparation of test procedure, including the automatic test procedures, and execution of tests in coordination with the Tests preparation and execution team Qualifications Experience University degree in the domain of engineering, physics, IT, or equivalent.
