For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Test Engineer for their location in Leiden, the Netherlands. With more than 200 employees, this company makes a vital contribution to the international space industry in the current operational areas of Solar Arrays, Launching Structures, and Instruments Systems. In these areas they belong to the world top. Currently, they are working on the Solar Array Mechanisms for the Orion MPCV MultiPurpose Crew Vehicle project. This spacecraft will be capable of carrying astronauts beyond low Earth orbit LEO, enabling manned missions to the moon, asteroids and, it is hoped, even further. The driving force that will power the Orion capsule and its crew of four or more astronauts deeper into space than ever before is the ATVderived service module MPCVESM. Tasks and Responsibilities As a Test Engineer you are responsible for qualifying solar array mechanisms. Based on the specifications you set up a test plan and test procedures and design test setups. You conduct the tests using measuring devices and analyze the results to show that the product meets the requirements. Experience and Education Completed professional education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable qualification Some years of professional experience in testing of space flight hardware Professional experience in use of measurement tools Welldeveloped communication skills, used to work in a team Sense of responsibility and an effective way of working Fluent in written and spoken English. Test Support Engineer 1513030 Job Description We are looking for a Test Support Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. Your role will be the provision of engineering and testing support to the MTG Verification and Validation Team Leader in the frame of the Phase CDE1 of the MTG Programme. You will contribute to all phases of the IVV programmes introduced above Planning, Execution and Control Closeout. Your key duties will be the preparation, execution coordination including results analyses of the MTG MC Chain system VV tests. You will also support the complete MTG system IVV testing, including support to the System Validation Tests and Operational Scenario Validation. You shall work in close coordination with Ops Prep Team and Ground Segment Teams. Your tasks will typically include the following Incrementally develop and maintain System MC Test Specification, test cases from the highlevel definition contained in System VV Plans, inline with the System Design, the Operations Concept and the status of definition of the associated test tools Participate to system satellite simulator and test tools acceptance, prepare for the test tool usage and associated test data generation in coordination with Simulator Officer Contribute to the preparation and the execution of the MTG System Validation Tests with successive MTG satellite models for the verification of the associated requirements Plan for, coordinate, prioritise and lead the execution of the System MC Tests Generate test reports, verification records, substantiate associated anomaliesnon compliances, and perform postanalysis of the test results in liaison with Ops Prep Team and MC specialists Contribute to Test Readiness, Test Review Boards and Anomaly Review Boards Contribute to the preparation of the All Chains Test Specification, test cases. System Engineer for Test and Simulation Systems Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is an independent Danish company recognized in satellite test systems, software, independent software verification and validation activities, onsite engineering support and power electronics.
