1. Needs Active Space Technologies VOF is looking for an experienced Project Manager to assume projects in the space area. The ideal candidate should have 3 years or more in project management Project planning experience, including effort estimation on technical tasks, resource allocation, and cost estimation Superior communication skills both written and oral Ability to create and write key project management documentation Ability to autonomously conduct meetings and negotiation with customers and suppliers. The work will be executed for the first two years in the headquarters of Active Space Technologies in Coimbra Portugal. 2. Duties Responsibilities Responsible for the schedule, coordination and completion of projects Effectively manage multiple, concurrent modification and deployment projects Responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the successful launch of projects Oversee all aspects of project implementation to deliver products and services ontime Work closely with different internal teams and endcustomers to oversee design, development and quality assurance Ability to understand a projects technical details and uncover and assess projects risks Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills, selfmotivation, leadership, and team orientation Demonstrates analytic, technical, and organizational skills. 3. Minimum Requirements The ideal candidate shall have Experience in complex systems industries aerospace, automotive Over 3 years of experience in a commercial project with development Ability to interpret, monitor and implement technical requirements Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, ranging from mechanical engineers to technicians Ability to work in multiple projects and multitasking Proficiency in writing technical reports. 3.1 Academic Qualification Masters degree in Aerospacial, Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics or related Asset Project Management Professional PMP certification, or similar project management background 3.2 Practical Experience The candidate will be valued for having the following background Previous experience in the space industry knowledge of a typical space programme phases Experience in the project management of development teams 3.4 Languages English Please apply for the email jobsactivespacetech.com with reference to VN 0108 in the subject of the message.
