The key person will be assigned to the development or maintenance of several space systems. The key person will integrate a team of software engineers under the direction of the project manager in CS GmbH. This activity includes, among others, the following activities Software development. Studies and prototyping of concepts. Bug fixing Anomaly investigation and design of resolutions. Integration, validation and verification activities. Onsite support for critical operation phases. Requirements At least three years in software development or maintenance in medium size projects. You shall have at least a BSc. in Computer Science Engineer, or equivalent. Mandatory technical skills Good mastery of Python programming Good mastery of Docker, Docker compos Good mastery of CWL Good mastery of Toil Nicetohave technical skills Knowledge of Cloud environment Knowledge of Mesos Knowledge of Ansible Knowledge of ELK Stack Other required skills Proficiency in English language. Thales Alenia Space Deutschland TASD develops a newest generation Software Defined Radio SDR to be used as communications payload on small and nano satellites. This SDR shall be used for a variety of different missions in the scope of the Internet of the Things IOT. For the SDR payload development, we use several hardware platforms, including microcontrollers with ARMbased processors, and also the newest generation of multiprocessor system on chip MPSOC, containing a FPGA and several ARM processors. This scope of this position is the area of software development for the SDR payload, supporting the different projects and activities of TASD in this domain. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Understanding of the payload functions and analysis of system technical requirements in order to determine the software specification, the design, the interfaces, and the verification concept Technical planning of the software development aligned with the payload development.
