The successful applicant will join TOPLD2 SC Operations Logistics FHN. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Act as focal point towards the supplier for operational activities Manage all aspects of the procurement contractPO execution, specifically accountable for OQOT delivery including related documentation services Active monitoring control of the Suppliers Participate in the Procurement Meetings called by MFTs covering the view and key messages about supplier operational performance Daytoday manage the supplier from procurement contractPO kickoff to provide all deliverables participate as required to lead progress meetings design reviews production reviews including quality gates, lead deviation waiver process, lead nonconformance process, manage Performance reviews with the suppliers, lead change process, manage supplier surveillance and performance improvement actions plans in coordination with Commodity Buyer, Supply Quality and other relevant stakeholders Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites, maximising the empowerment of the teams in plant Contribute to the Supplier Evaluation Development SED process Identify the supplier risks and propose mitigation actions. Set short term recovery plans together with the relevant stakeholders We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to degree level in Engineering Industrial Engineering or equivalent Solid knowledge of Procurement processes and Tools Customeroriented approach Stakeholder Management skills ability to work closely with in house supply chain, engineering and other functions. Supply Chain Procurement Manager Space Propulsion Technology

Our client is a space sector Propulsion specialist based in Northern Ireland. On behalf of this Client we are recruiting for a procurement engineer with experience of space propulsion and thruster technology. We are therefore presently seeking an experienced Supply Chain or procurement engineer from the space industry. This role is to be working on a 5 kW Thruster project for the space industry and other future propulsion projects. This role is a long term contract position and also has the possibility to become permanent for the right candidate. Role Description Understanding application of the following Monitoring data management to keep accurate product, contract, pricing and invoicing information on propulsion and thruster technology. Working closely with European and US suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost. Communicating needs and objectives to managers with key personnel in procurement. Negotiating contracts to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency. Providing accurate routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. Accurately calculating total supply chain costs in relation to proposed new projects on Thruster and Propulsion Technology. Knowledge of coordinating all of the entities involved in a supply chain. Knowledge of managing returns and rejections professionally and promptly with suppliers. Extensive experience in the strategic planning and transportation of products. Able to negotiating rates with European contractors and also US companies. Planning of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution. Experience in Process improvement. Experience in operational logistics management and vendor management. Carrying out the initial and also ongoing assessment of the supply chain. The Person Experience of developing and implementing supply chain strategies within the space industry. Familiar with propulsion technology in particular, Hall Thruster Technology, and Electric Propulsion. Some knowledge of Chemical propulsion technology is desirable. Ability to work in small cross functional teams or on their own. Managing recognised space industry supply chains. Ability to manage several projects and tasks at once. Good at organising and managing people. A clear ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.

Activities Attending to the customer progress meeting and payload design reviews. Attending to the supplier progress meeting and managing the design reviews. Breakdown for the system requirements to the subsystem requirements and their management. Collaboration with system engineers for the performance model definition and set up. Customer technical interface. Detector front end electronics definition and design. Electronic design team coordination. Electronics test coordination and execution. Electronics test plan definition support. Performance analysis check and execution. Subsystem analysis and reports checking. Support to qualification campaign for the complete PL. Test setup coordination and definition. Education BSC or MSC in electronic engineering or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the space electronics engineering. Experience and Qualifications Experience in design partitioning, performances analysis, requirements management. Management of at least one procurement of a complex space subassembly for Electronics from requirements to the qualification. Management of the phases review for the procurement of a complex space subassembly for Electronics from requirements to qualification. Good knowledge of the English language in written and spoken form. Communication skills aiming at teamwork and suppliercustomer relations. Working experience required More than 3 years working experience in a similar position and 10 years working experience overall in space engineering. Technical skills required Interdisciplinary capabilities optics, electronics, physics, data analysis. Procurement Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leading system house, specialized in development and implementation of high technology solutions for aerospace, science and industry. You will have the following responsibilities Enhance procurement management as the interface between the satellite programs and the subcontractors Manage and optimize procurement for a German national space project Manage subcontractor interfaces, delivery process and schedule Prepare and implement competitive tender processes including Requests for Quotation, proposal evaluation and subcontractor selection Ensure supplies of subsystems considering customer and process orientation requirements as well as cost and quality optimization Conduct price and contract negotiations Handle change processes during project implementation Manage the subcontract until delivery and acceptance of the hardware. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar technical areas Several years of experience in procurement and subcontractor management, preferably in the space sector Experience in interdisciplinary work Broad management skills Strong background in legal matters and contract negotiation processes Fluency in English is mandatory German would be an asset.
