Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Generating a Components Control Plan to manage all quality related EEE activities Supporting Engineering to generate a radiation hardness assurance plan Implementing told to effectively manage all EEE activities Checking compliance to the program requirements of the EEE Plans submitted by the supplier Ensuring that all subcontractors deliver Declared Components Lists in due time Ensuring that all subcontractors Declared Component Lists DCLs are released and available, and that all parts are correctly presented in the list Checking that all available sources for known weakness off EEE parts or open WN Alert and ensuring that all affected EEE parts are procured by considering Alert recommendations Ensuring that all EEE parts intended to be sued are not affected by obsolescence Verifying that all subcontractors have the capability to store and handle EEE parts properly Generating MPCVESM System DCLs for all EEE parts used in program and allocated to equipment Supporting the MPCVESM program in all quality related EEE matters Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience University Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent Minimum 4 years of direct professional experience in quality management Expert knowledge of EEE especially in matters related to behavior, treatment, manufacturing, soldering and testing Fluency in English Candidates should be available to take on the assignment by May 2014. For the Meteosat Third Generation MTG project, we are currently recruiting a Product Quality Assurance Consultant as part of the Ground Segment team. In this position, your main task will be the implementation of QA processes in support of the MTG Team activities connected to Definition and maintenance of the requirements baseline Procurement development, integration, verification, validation and acceptance of the MTG Ground Segment Facilities and associated elements Integration, validation and commissioning of the MTG Ground Segment. Tasks and Responsibilities Implement EUMETSAT QA policies in the assigned areas, in accordance with the MTG System QA plan and all relevant applicable Standards and Procedures, during all project phases Analyze the effectiveness of the main processes within MTG Ground Segment activities and provide suggestions for process improvement Ensure that all processes and procedures are available, adequate, maintained updated and correctly implemented in the MTG documentation Support the formal project Reviews and Check Points, ensuring that the relevant applicable Procedures and methods are correctly implemented Support the MTG GS Facilities procurement activities and the connected processes Support the preparation and conduct of QA audits on Industry and within EUMETSAT in the areas connected with MTG GS activities, in line with the MTG GS ContractorsSuppliers Quality Assurance Audit Plan Report to the MTG GS QA Engineer and the GEO QA Team Leader and attend and support the weekly MTG QA Team coordination meetings. Other desired skills and experience includes Significant handson experience in QA processes definition, implementation, monitoring and control Knowledge of PAQA relevant standards eg ECSS MILSTD NASA, CMMI Direct experience in providing QA support to procurement contracts for complex products Experience in providing QA support to SW products as well as HWSW products integration Knowledge of requirement management tools e.g. DOORS Knowledge of software Agile methodology Knowledge of MATLAB in terms of coding best practices A good knowledge spoken and written of at least the English language French is an advantage. Product Assurance Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be working at ESAESTEC in support of ESAs Technical and Quality Management Directorate. You will have the following responsibilities Establishing the PA Safety requirements baseline for all project elements Reviewing contractors project PAS programme plans and specifications Monitoring project PA status identifying relevant PA issues Assessing the implementation of PAS requirements, participating in design safety reviews and directing the necessary preventivecorrective actions Guiding and monitoring the application and procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling implementation of applicable requirements Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities Defining the formal acceptance requirements and conducting the Acceptance Reviews of all contractual deliverable items Controlling NCRwaiversproblemsCritical items Participating in all project reviews, including safety reviews Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above PA support surveillance of Payload integration, System tests Launch campaign, AIT activities, NRBs. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline Several years relevant experience in product assurance and quality assurance in the aerospace domain Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Noordwijk and involves extensive travelling to integration, test facilities and launch site.
