Summary An opportunity for an experienced engineer to work onsite at ESTEC for Telespazio VEGA UK, providing expertise for PVT assurance activities. Objective To provide support to the RF Division with the expertise to analyse, define, design and test concepts, technologies and solutions in the field of Position Velocity Timing PVT assurance using GNSS and other Position Navigation Timing PNT technologies. Support design, implementation, maintenance and operation of Radio Navigation equipment, complex Radio Navigation simulation tools and test facilities for testing features endtoend performances, receivers, etc. in the aforementioned activities Qualifications Experience Masters degree or equivalent in relevant field 10 years experience preferably industrial covering topics above Essential Skills Background and experience in GNSS, in particular system and user technologies for PVT integrity experience in design, performances and standardisation of PNT user segments technologies GNSS receiver, signal processing and navigation algorithms, sensor fusion, etc.. Background and experience in at least two of the following fields is an asset wireless security GNSS PVT assurance wireless systems for safetyrelated applications any of the following application domains and their associated safety standards railway, automotive, maritime Qualities Fluent in written and spoken English Good interpersonal and communication skills Proactive and flexible attitude to working Excellent analytical skills Ability to work effectively both within a small team and in an autonomous way.
