Junior Development Engineer Thermal Hardware Start date and duration Position starting as soon as feasible on a one year contract. Client and Location For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Junior Development Engineer for their location in Immenstaad, Germany. Tasks and Responsibilities Design and development of thermal hardware heat pipes, thermal straps, thermal switches Perform thermal analyses of thermal hardware, including test predictions Perform plausibility checks and hand calculation to validate the analysis results Definition, preparation, simulation and surveillance of thermal tests, such as thermal vacuum and thermal balance tests Evaluation of test results Awareness of cost account management e.g. budget, risk and schedule for thermal activities Documentation and archiving of all activities, mathematical models and analysis and tests results. Experience and Education The ability to change quickly roles and responsibility, while working in challenging environment Understanding of thermal material properties Ability to work in a team. This job is to design electronics systems and develop embedded hardware of spacecraft for ispace, inc. The job includes all phases of design, from defining system architecture, computer board design, specifying FPGA functions, implementation and hardware debugging, to supporting software and system integration. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base including electrical board and FPGA design. Prior experience in making high reliability electronics and controlling vendors manufacturing is required. Experience as a fullFPGA developer is also required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in product definition, requirements and specification Perform electrical board design Control manufacture of electronics by an outside vendor Complete FPGA specification, and design whole FPGA functions with HDL language Develop and execute test cases to verify whole FPGA design function, timing, etc with both simulation and board level testing Develop test cases and procedures for integration, validation and verification Support system integration, troubleshooting and verification of electronics subsystem REQUIREMENTS Masterss degree in Electrical Engineering EE, or equivalent 5years of experienceHandson development experience for an embedded hardware, such as electrical schematic design, PCB manufacturing, and debugging of the board with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes Experience of whole FPGA development, defining specification, programing, and testing APPLY FOR THIS JOB
