We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to work in large volume project team for a prestigious European customer. The role is focused on Cloud Infrastructure, Security and Network management. Operations, maintenance and support activities to the compute, network and storage software components as well as applications Execute monitoring and control of the cloud and infrastructure resources to proactively handle capacity, performance and availability issues Support the database administration and tuning tasks Support the information security monitoring and proactive tasks Fulfil users requests received via the relevant service teams Work on resolving incidents Contribute to technical documentation updating Collaborate to the software release and deployment tasks Contribute to the continuous evolution of the managed cloud infrastructure and deployed services Ensure proper execution of backup operations Ensure that the infrastructures are compliant with security requirements Deploy and maintain the service tools, and ensuring their availability and usability Ideal candidate Minimum 5 years experience in any combination of the following Systems integration and Infrastructure management e.g. sys admin mainly in a GNULinux and virtualised environment with network security experience High experience in GNULinux based systems administration i.e. load balancing, mail relay, host firewalling, web servers, openLDAP, NFS, etc. Openstack Cloud infrastructure operations, Openstack Swift, VMware vSphere virtualization operations, and VMware NSX experiences Automation and orchestration tools deployment, planning and management Container technologies experiences Database management would be an asset MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Technical Reporting The candidate must be able to work in an international environment with excellent written and spoken English and can do attitude.
