Verizon bounces back in Q2 with 614,000 postpaid customers added

(Telecompaper) Verizon bounced back in the mobile market in Q2, recovering from customers losses in the first quarter, after the launch of its own unlimited offer to match challenger T-Mobile. The company added a net 614,000 retail postpaid subscribers in the quarter, in line with the year-earlier period, as well as 19,000 new prepaid users, for a total retail base of 114.536 million at the end of June.

T-Mobile NL maintains growth with 60k postpaid adds in Q2

(Telecompaper) T-Mobile Netherlands added a net 60,000 new postpaid customers in the second quarter, maintaining its steady growth of the past year. In 12 months, the mobile operator has added a total 254,000 new postpaid subscribers, for a total 3.11 million at the end of June.

Dutch postpaid mobile providers scoring better with customer

(Telecompaper) Dutch postpaid mobile subscribers are increasingly positive about their providers, according to the latest research by Telecompaper. The 'Postpaid Mobile Insights Q1 2016' report shows that the NPS (net promoter score) in the postpaid market increased over the past year from +4 to +11. While consumers on Sim-only plans are usually less enthusiastic about their providers, the NPS for Sim-only providers reached the same level as the total postpaid market in Q1. Sim-only provider Simyo actually had the highest NPS of all the providers researched. Simyo's NPS, which measures the share of customers who would be very likely to recommend their provider to others, reached +35. The Telecompaper report also shows that postpaid continues to dominate the Dutch mobile market. The share of postpaid in the total market has remained at 81 percent for the past year. Sim-only accounts for 43 percent of postpaid subscribers, a figure also little changed in the last 12 months.
