For the location in Darmstadt, Germany we are looking for a Software Support and Maintenance for Ground Station Monitoring and Control Systems fm at ESOC. Tasks STCII is the central monitoring and control system for ESA ground stations. It is currently deployed on eight ground stations of the ESA tracking network. The system is responsible for monitoring and controlling all ground station equipment, to apply all configurations necessary to support tracking of spacecraft and to receive telemetry from and to send telecommands to the spacecraft. The system implements a high degree of automation to support unmanned operation of ground stations in various countries around the world. The STCII installed in the Operation Centre in Darmstadt allows remote monitoring and control of all the supported ESA ground stations. The STCII system uses a configuration database, which configures the online system to operate on different ground stations and to support different spacecraft missions. Preparation of the configuration databases is supported by the socalled Ground Station Tailoring System GSTS. Emphasis of the project is in particular on the maintenance and the continuous development of the configuration databases.
