We are looking for a professional business developer with a passion for sales within the Aerospace market, to acquire and build up a pipeline of new business opportunities in Germany and abroad, and to manage client account relations. The position will be based at our headquarters in DarmstadtGermany. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES The new Sales Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities To help form a sales strategy with company objectives Successfully acquire and close business opportunities and achieve agreed annual sales order intake Proactive development of client base ClientAccount management, Pipeline generation Communicate client requirements to engineering Assist in the preparation of tendersproposals in a timely manner Maintain after sales relationship ensuring clients are wholly satisfied with product and service Support the definition of aerospace solutions technically and commercially QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE University or similar degree in Engineering or similar, or MBA Strong network of contacts in the Space domain and good knowledge of space or space related technologies. At least 5 years of experience in Sales Business Development Proven track record in acquisition of orders with new clients ESSENTIAL SKILLS Excellent international communication skills Strong networking skills Fluency in English, both oral and written DESIRABLE SKILLS Good grasp of business German Good understanding of financial budgets and strategies BENEFITS Competitive salary, a commission scheme, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
