Business Development and Sales Engineer RFSATCOM Dual skill Marketing and Engineering Callisto is an international engineering consultancy and equipment development company in the field of satellite communications. Callisto is seeking to recruit an engineer to take charge of sales of RF products for SATCOMEarth Observation applications. The ideal candidate should be qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering subject and have at least three years experience in the space industry, of which one year in a sales or marketing role. Reporting to the Operations Manager heshe will be responsible for the commercialisation of RF products for ground stations which Callisto has been developing over the past seven years. Working closely with Business Unit Managers, the tasks of the Business Development and Sales Engineer will include Establishing and developing sales contacts including Government Agencies, Research Institutes, commercial industry, satellite operators etc. Development of marketing plans and sales strategies including advertising and publicity. Preparing proposals in response to tenders Meeting potential clients, preparing and giving technocommercial presentations. Responding to sales inquiries and preparing sales quotations. Maintaining sales leads database CRM tool Reporting quarterly sales forecasts and targets monthly visit report. Competitive and market intelligence Analysis of customer requirements and assistance with new product definitions. Following market trends. Productservice cost analysis. Tradeshow representation In addition to the broad qualification requirement given earlier, preference will be given to candidates with the following knowledge and experience Satellite communications Ground station engineering RF engineering Earth Observation Operators and Industry players European space industry Soft skills Web site and professional networks management Publicity advertisement design. Autonomous Rigorous Flexible The position will be based at Callisto offices near Toulouse France. The working languages are French and English. It is a requirement to be fluent in written and spoken English. Salary range 35K to 45K per annum depending on experience. In addition, an incentive bonus will be offered linked to results.

We are looking for a Mechanisms Engineer E3 to join our Ajilon Technology Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 115 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. General tasks to be performed Mechanisms support to all ESA project directorates with respect to the implementation of space mechanism technologies in current and future missions, including configuration assessments and mission performance evaluation Establishment of Statement of Work and Preliminary Requirement Specifications for Mechanism Systems, Individual Mechanisms or Mechanism components dedicated to Technology and Research Development. Perform and support in the role of Mechanism engineer, System Level Mission Definition studies and system conceptual design activities in support of the ESA long termfuture mission plans. Identification of enabling mechanism and tribological technologies for future ESA missions. Support investigations of mechanisms being out of performance, including malfunctions and contingency scenarios. Support and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of the Space Mechanisms ECSS Engineering Standards. Generation and setup of appropriate space mechanisms analysis and simulation models using analysis tools based on technical documentation of space mechanisms. Back up and archiving of analysis models for later retrieval. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required A Masters degree or equivalent in mechanical or aeronautical engineering. Relevant experience within the field of mechanism design, analysis, verification and testing. Excellent knowledge in space system engineering, specializing in mechanisms, knowledge of the Space Mechanism ECSS standard and its application to the design and verification of mechanisms, together with a good knowledge of space mechanism testing and verification methodologies and techniques and a good knowledge of related mechanisms numerical analysis tools such as Adams, VirtualLab Motion , SIMPACK, MatlabSimulink, Maxwell, Flux etc. Good knowledge specifically of ECSSEST3301CRev.1 Mechanisms. Good knowledge of ESA and its programmesprojects. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively, autonomously and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment, defining and implementing solutions in line with team and individual objectives, as well as project deadlines. Summary An opportunity for an experienced System Engineer to work onsite at ESTEC for Telespazio VEGA UK. Objective To provide support in the DTEC Directorate in the System team of Small Satellite or CubeSat Project in the area of System Avionics, System Software and System Communication across all phases of the project. Responsibilities Duties Duties will include but are not limited to Support all activities related to System Avionics, System Software and System Communication, from the early definition phase through to implementation phase and launchoperations phase. Maintain interfaces with the relevant Prime contractors or subsystem responsibles industryresearch institute for the assigned projects. Support system and subsystem reviews of the assigned projects and ad hoc support. Follow up on technical issues arising on the assigned projects and participate in risk reduction activities. Help defining operations and support the inorbit commissioning phase of the projects. Qualifications Experience Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. The candidate should have expert knowledge of System Engineering and more specifically to avionics, software and communication subsystems through the complete lifecycle including mission designoperations, systems design AIV, subsystem technologiesproducts. Knowledge of experience in the practical application of tailored engineeringquality standards to Small Satellite, IOD missions and CubeSat projects would be an asset. Experience of system and mission design, including system design modelling tools and Concurrent Engineering applied to space mission assessment and design would be beneficial. Knowledge of System of Systems SoS architecting and related tools such as System Architect, Focal Point, etc. and frameworks e.g. MODAF, TOGAF would be an asset. Knowledge and practice in the application of ESA SE Standards e.g. ECSSE10 series and SW engineering would an asset. Essential Skills Good English language skills Excellent interpersonal skills. Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a diverse team environment.
