POSITION ID 2154 ROLE FUNCTION Data Processing System L0 to L2, FEP Engineer in Darmstadt Germany GENERAL CONDITIONS START 2015 LOCATION Darmstadt TYPE OF BUSINESS Science CONTRACT fulltime employment WORKING LANGUAGE English, French is considered an advantage TASKS The Data Processing System engineers L0 to L2, DFEP, online QC, Aux. Data Coordination, Mission Performance Monitoring and relevant Statistics and Reporting shall support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to Marine Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS maintenance in particular anomaly correction and software release process and necessary evolutions, including the necessary coordination of the data processing systems engineering for the related interfaces with the rest of the Sentinel3 ground segment. PROFILE The consultant should have the following background a minimum of 5 years experience in maintaining and engineering of evolutions of large scale software systems missioninstrument data processing related. Knowledge and experience is required in software development lifecycles Use of and application programming of relational database systems in particular ORACLE, INFORMIX, PostgreSQL and MySQL CCJava programming language experience in a UNIXLinux based environment Knowledge of Scripting languages Python, Perl, TclTk, shell Experience with the programming and usage of IDL Experience with CCSDS and TCPIP protocols Knowledge of XML and related technologies XPATH, SVG, etc. For more Details about the Tasks, please feel free to contact Mr. Gustavo Gomez Recruitment Associate
