Experienced in supporting commissioning of new VSAT services and providing 24x7 Level 3 Managed Services support to the Network Operations Centre NOC to maintain service for our customers as per SLA requirements A SelfStarter with ability to work as part of a Global Team and with a results driven attitude and a keen eye for detail A Technology enthusiast who has extensive knowledge of and is highly experienced within the satellite communications domain and is passionate about cuttingedge world class technology As a Satcom Operations Engineer, youll be part of a global team providing operations and service excellence to our customers. With this said wed like your help in Work as part of global team to ensure active incidents are actioned utilizing a Follow the Sun support methodology and OnCall support 247 rotation Ensure servicesproducts are delivered as per agreed contract on time and in budget Complete Operations Engineering changes as required, adhering to the defined Change Management process Perform routine auditing of assigned Regional Area or specific Customer sites, liaising closely with NOC appropriate CSM RSL for any identified issues Work with Engineering Product Development Teams in order to support the growth of the SES portfolio and the feedback potential improvements to baseband equipment RF components This is quite the task, but with strong stakeholder and customer experience management skills, were sure youll be fine. All this is making us actively search for the following Singapore NationalityPermanent Residency with relevant Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience and English fluency Minimum 5 years of experience in the satellite or telecommunications industry with Field andor Operations experience Strong understanding of GEO and MEO satellite constellations, Satellite Communications Baseband, Network Management, and Modem systems equipment across multiple vendors, certifications preferred Experience in managing satellite or telecommunications projects with a background in ITIL methodologies Experience of dealing with multiple departments and customers, understand how to manage their expectations Linux systems administration and IP networking experience, certifications preferred Willingness to travel internationally as required for Training and Customer Support Good to know For more information on SES, click here.
